Special and/or sensitive personal data

We only process personal data of persons under the age of 16 if we have the consent of the person with parental responsibility. By providing personal data to us for processing, you declare that you are at least 16 years old or have the consent of your parents or other persons with parental responsibility for the processing. If we find that a person in our records is under 16 and no consent has been given for the processing by a person with parental responsibility, we will delete the personal data.

If you have reason to believe that we are processing personal data of a person under 16 without the consent of the authorised person, please contact us at allabout@neeve.com so that we can delete the data concerned.

Retention period of personal data

We do not keep personal data longer than necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. In principle, we keep order, invoice and relevant financial records for seven years in accordance with tax retention obligations. We keep data in a customer account for as long as the account is active, and delete or anonymise it after termination as soon as it is no longer needed, subject to statutory retention obligations or legitimate claims. We keep newsletter data until you unsubscribe or withdraw your consent; proof of consent or unsubscription may be kept for an appropriate period for accountability purposes. We keep customer service correspondence for as long as necessary for handling and any claims. Cookie data is kept in accordance with the periods stated in the cookie banner or cookie overview. Where no fixed statutory period applies, we periodically assess whether retention is still necessary.

Security of personal data

We take good care of your personal data and have therefore taken the following measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorised alteration:

  • The connection to the website (www.neeve.com) is established via a secure connection.
  • All systems use encrypted connections and two-step verification.
  • The computers on which personal data is processed and stored always have the latest security updates from Windows or Apple.
  • The computers on which personal data is processed and stored have adequate virus protection.
  • The group of employees with access to personal data is kept to a minimum.
  • All employees with access to personal data are bound by a confidentiality agreement aimed at protecting personal data.
  • A data processing agreement has been concluded with all external parties that have access to personal data, under which these third parties have undertaken to observe confidentiality and to process the personal data only on behalf of Neeve B.V.

If you nevertheless suspect that your data is not properly secured or you have indications of misuse of your data, please let us know at allabout@neeve.com.

Sharing personal data with third parties

We do not sell personal data. For our webshop and services, we may share personal data with (among others) Shopify (webshop platform), Klaviyo (e-mail marketing), De Pakkettenfabriek (fulfilment), Returnless (returns portal), carriers and payment providers, in each case insofar as necessary for their specific activities. Depending on their role, these parties act as processor or as independent controller. Where required, we conclude data processing agreements. When using, among others, Shopify and Klaviyo, personal data may be processed outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. We ensure that a valid transfer mechanism is in place for this, such as an applicable adequacy decision (including the EU-US Data Privacy Framework for certified recipients) or standard contractual clauses with appropriate supplementary measures where necessary.

Cookies on www.neeve.com

Our website uses necessary functional cookies, analytical cookies and advertising or marketing cookies. Necessary cookies support, among other things, the functioning of the webshop and generally do not require consent. For analytical cookies that do not fall under a statutory exception and for advertising and tracking cookies, we ask for your consent in advance via the cookie banner. Non-essential cookies are only placed after valid consent. Via the cookie banner you can refuse, give, or later change or withdraw your consent. In the banner or cookie overview we state, per cookie or service, the purpose, the provider and the retention period. Depending on the settings, data, including online identifiers and IP addresses, may be processed by third parties, including outside the EEA.
